Hagerbach the experimental tunnel site

The Hagerbach experimental underground tunnel is a fascinating underground world. First started around 30 years ago, nowadays with its multitude of tunnels,
caverns, experimental areas, laboratories, training classrooms and tourist attractions all over a distance of 5 km, it offers an ideal area for all sorts of
activities.

In the innermost part of the Hagerbach underground tunnel, where new construction technologies are explored and tried and tested, there is a unique rock laboratory and you can study present-day mining and tunnelling close up. The 5 km long labyrinth of tunnels, the impressive digging equipment and the unusual surroundings let you experience how interesting life underground can be.
