The Walensee (lake) fits into the countryside like a fjord - and the distinctive points of the Churfristen rise up proudly above it. The Walensee is not only one of the deepest Swiss lakes but also one of the most diverse.
Walks along the lake, the mild climate and the special atmosphere in places such as Weesen, Waltenstadt, Murg or the car-free Quinten are particularly enjoyable.
A boatride on the Walensee connects places, special offers and activities in an ideal manner. The connection to Quinten also runs right through the winter.

The pearl on the Walensee
Walenstadt is a starting point for hikes and also different water sports.
Unlimited winter and summer sports
In both summer and winter the places around the touristic centre of Unterterzen are the ideal starting points for a variety of activities.
The chestnut village on the Walensee
Fig trees in the garden and chestnut trees in the forest lend Murg a southern air.
Only accessible from the lake or on foot
Quinten is in many respects unique. The charm of the car-free village at the foot of the powerful Churfirsten mountains is hard to describe - you really need to experience it in person.
The Walensee's Riviera
The picturesque little town of Weesen is considered the riviera on the Walensee. Spacious parks and a lovely lakeside atmosphere give the town its character.
