Ein einmaliges Erlebnis
In der unberührten Natur des Schilstales, weitab vom Alltagsstress, liegt die Mulchenhütte Lauiboden. Hier scheint die Zeit stillgestanden zu sein. Saftige Alpweiden, Bergbäche, dunkle Tannen und imposante Berge prägen das Bild. Es macht den Eindruck, als müssten gleich Heidi und der Alpöhi aus der Alphütte treten.

Untouched nature in Schils Valley, far away from urban stress. Here is the milk hut Lauiboden, a place where time stands still... the scene is one of imposing mountains, dark pine, mountain brooklets, lush alpine meadows. One feels that at any moment Heidi and her Grandad are going to come through the doorway...

Up to six persons can sleep here comfortably on straw and with woollen blankets, afterwards cooking over an open fire as in Heidi's days. Fresh alpine products like cheese, butter and milk can be bought straight from the alp.

By car from Flumserberg Tannenheim it takes about 1/2 hour reach the Milk Hut which is a good starting point for lovely walks.

So one lived on the alp 100 years ago and more:

no running water.Water fetched from the well in front of the hut.
no electric light or power. Light came from the petroleum lamp and the fire in the pit
WC usable only in the alpine hut nearby.

Gültig
Die Alp Lauiboden ist grundsätzlich von Juni bis Oktober von den Sennen besetzt. Ausserhalb dieser Zeiten Reservationen auf Anfrage, wobei die Sennhütte dann geschlossen ist und keine Alp-Produkte bezogen werden können.
