The beautiful Giessenpark with its lake invites you to take a stroll.
Innumerable, well marked paths lead through meadows and woods along the banks of the Rhine or the shores of the lake. Bring a good book to read, observe the many birds of the forest and the water-fowl or look at the little children playing at the play-ground - the numerous benches invite you to be and relax.
Or follow the 800m-long forest information path with over a 100 different kinds of trees. A map of this path is available for free at the tourist office of Bad Ragaz.
Lake Giessen is a still lake formed from a tributary of the Rhine. Swimming and boating is forbidden. Fishing is possible.
