The '"fairy-tale Auntie" reads parts of the Heidi story to the children before they sit down to enjoy one of Heidi's favourite suppers (grilled cheese and potatoes boiled in their skins or meat and cheese with white bread rolls). And so that the kids wont get bored while waiting for the dessert (baked apple or cake) they all take part in a Heidi painting competition. Then, after the storyteller has again read them another short Heidi adventure, they get a small present each to take home as a memento of their exciting evening.
