Further information Heidiland Hiking Tour
- A number of the stages of the Heidiland Hiking Tour lead over high altitudes or exposed areas. It is therefore necessary to have a sure step and solid hiking shoes. Should the weather play false you will have to check on alternative routes for the day's hike. Your hotel manager will gladly advise you.
- Would you like to extend your vacation in the holiday region Heidiland? We shall gladly be of assistance to you, booking additional overnight stays for you at one or other of the places on the route of the Heidiland Hiking Tour or before the tour in Weesen.
- If one of the partner hotels of the Heidiland Hiking Tour is fully booked, we shall offer you a substitute hotel of the same quality.
- Your hotel manager will arrange for you to have a lunch packet. Order it the evening before and it will be ready for you the next morning. Payment for the lunch packet is made directly to the hotel.
- Your luggage is transported daily from hotel to hotel. Each day simply hand it in at the reception desk before your departure. The exception is the mountain hut at Murgsee - here it is not possible to transport luggage.
- Before the start of the tour in Ziegelbrücke you hand in your luggage at the railway station booking office by 3 p.m. at the latest. For the tour EAST, Flumserberg Tourist Office will accept your luggage up to 2 p.m.
- How to get here: We recommend you to take public transport, most trains stop in Ziegelbrücke. The most attractive way to get to Flumserberg (tour EAST) is to travel on the cable railway, the valley station of which is directly beside the Unterterzen railway station.
- The individual stages are also shown on GPS data. In the stage survey you can download these data or print out the online map belonging thereto.
- The Euro prices given are the standard rate. On payment the actual exchange rate of the day is valid.
