Bad Ragaz

The Bad Ragaz health and beauty oasis centres around the modern Tamina Therme spa, a magnificent white, wooden construction in which the agreeable thermal waters bubble away.  However, in addition, there are other, smaller, charming spas, such as "ad fontes Beauty & Wellness" or the "Spahouse" which are also very popular.  

Berschis & Tscherlach

The two little villages of Berschis and Tscherlach can be found on the sunny side of the Walensee valley.

Fläsch

The wine-growing village borders Canton St. Gallen and the Fürstentum Liechtenstein. The border, on the Luzisteig pass. and also the 2,599m high Grauspitz, lie behind the Regitzerspitz (1,135m above sea level). The Fläscher Alps are also to be found there.

Flums

The largest skiing and hiking area in the holiday region of Heidiland, the Flumserberg, as well as the small, but charming skiing and hiking area on Flums-Kleinberg both belong to Flums Gemeinde.

From Säxli take the cable car to the Schönhalde, the starting point for hiking and bike tours in summer and for skiing, ski tours and snowshoeing in winter.

Today and before

800 people live in Flumserberg, in addition to that there are about 7,200 beds for visitors in all different kinds of accommodation (hotels, holiday apartments, group accommodation etc.), 21 restaurants and 14 bars/snow bars, 16 cable cars and ski lifts (6 in summer).

Jenins

Jenins is known as "the pearl in the Bündner Herrschaft". Wine-making always was, and still is, of great importance in the village.

Maienfeld

The legend of Heidi can be felt by everyone today; especially in Maienfeld. In the "Heididorf" (Heidi village) you can see how Heidi might have lived. On the "Heidialp" (summer grazing pastures for the cows) you can understand just why Johanna Spyri was inspired to write her Heidi stories here.

First and foremost Pinot Noir: just last autumn this achieved an extraordinary reputation.
