Quinten

Only accessible from the lake or on foot

Quinten is in many respects unique. The charm of the car-free village at the foot of the powerful Churfirsten mountains is hard to describe - you really need to experience it in person.

Quinten means a little bit of Italy in the middle of eastern Switzerland, it means hiking amongst vineyards, palm trees and fig trees, it means soaking up sunshine in an oasis of peace and quiet, where untarred paths go close to the water through remote hamlets and to lonely bays.
