Zürich-Kloten is the international airport. You have a direct connection from the airport ( 1 x change at Zürch Main Station) to Heidiland.
Even if your arrival at Zürich airport is in the evening, the train and motorway connections to Heidiland are so good that you can spend the first night at your destination without a stop-over in Zürich.
In Bad Ragaz there is the private airfield Bad Ragaz.
Private flights: Coming from the north over the flying axis via Zürich-Walensee, from the east via Lake Constance-Altenrhein or coming from the south over the alpine passes via Ticino - San Bernardino - Splügen or Engadin - Julier.
Customs check is only possible for flights from Switzerland - abroad but not from abroad into Switzerland (Bad Ragaz).

| By Rail
Thanks to the national and international express connections arriving by train is no problem. There are connections to Ziegelbrücke or Sargans from Zürich, St. Gallen and Chur as well as from Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Köln and Paris.
Fast trains Zürich-Chur (with intermediate stops)
- Ziegelbrücke (Weesen/Amden, Kerenzerberg, Flumserberg)
- Sargans (Wangs-Pizol, Vilters, Mels, Wartau/Azmoos, Pizol)
- Bad Ragaz
The region is well served with rail, post buses, bus or ship connections, mountain or aerieal cable railways. Whoever wishes to have a "car-free" holiday can thus get around without problems - last but not least by bike or on foot.
